The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Prefabrication Estimator / Detailer to join our team at either our Breakwater or Somerton Branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing accurate work, and wants to be part of a supportive and successful team.

In this position, you will play an important role in supporting our prefabrication operations through accurate estimating and detailing projects. We are looking for someone with relevant industry experience who can work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute to delivering quality outcomes for our customers.

What you will be doing

• Preparing accurate estimates and detailed designs
• Interpreting building plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Producing designs using industry systems (CAD/Pryda – training provided)
• Liaising with builders, architects, engineers, and internal teams
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in plans and documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timeframes
• Supporting the efficient flow of work through the prefab operation
• Maintaining high attention to detail to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
• Collaborating with a dynamic design team to achieve project outcomes
• Following company procedures, policies, and safety requirements
• Contributing to a safe and positive team environment

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in a prefabrication estimating/detailing role
• strong relevant experience in similar setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
