About the role
This is a highly trusted and varied Senior Executive Assistant position supporting the Principal of a private family office across a diverse range of business, personal and operational interests. You will play a key role in keeping the Principal's professional and personal commitments running seamlessly, while working closely with senior stakeholders, service providers and external advisers. The role provides an opportunity to take responsibility for and manage people, as well as become involved in HR-related matters in conjunction with external Employment Lawyers.
Key responsibilities
Anticipate the Principal's needs and proactively identify solutions before issues arise
Provide high-level, day-to-day executive, administrative and diary support to the Principal across multiple business interests and personal commitments
Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation, itineraries and logistics, including travelling alongside the Principal when required
Act as a trusted and professional point of contact between the Principal and internal and external stakeholders
Handle highly confidential, sensitive and private information with absolute discretion and professionalism
Assist with the coordination and administration of the Principal's assets and personal logistics, including liaising with service providers, contractors and advisers
Provide hands-on support for meetings, business commitments, private functions and events
Track follow-ups, actions, tasks and deadlines across business and personal matters, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Assist with the coordination and management of staff, with the opportunity to take on broader people-management responsibilities
About You
3–5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant in a corporate, executive, private office or similar environment
Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Exceptional discretion and experience handling confidential and sensitive information
Professional, mature and confident when dealing with senior executives, advisers, lawyers and external stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident managing people and coordinating teams
Exposure to HR matters and comfortable working alongside Employment Lawyers and external advisers
Adaptable, solutions-focused and willing to go the extra mile
Willing and able to work flexibly across global hours and time zones, including outside standard business hours when required.
This role requires the ability to respond to Principal-related contact outside standard hours where genuinely necessary — particularly during the Principal's international travel.
