Set to become one of Sydney’s food and drink destinations for tourists and locals alike, we are searching for passionate individuals with an engaging personality. We are currently recruiting for a professional Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:

To oversee a section of kitchen and ensure that it runs according to the performance standards as established by the Executive Chef.Ensures that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.To organise and set up the kitchen as effectively as possible.To monitor food and operating costs, and manage and reduce wastage.Through hands-on management, closely supervise the kitchen associates in the performance of their duties.

Qualifications

Completion of Diploma or Completion of Chef apprenticeshipGood Hygiene knowledgeEffective trainer, experienced in the delivery of skills trainingSafe and accurate knife skillsKnowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methodsOne year minimum experience as Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant with good standardsPrevious experience in a leadership role
