Community Engagement and Growth Coordinator | NDIS

Build the programs. Grow the participants. Walk alongside clients as they build their skills.

Carexcell is seeking a well connected, fun and motivated person to take our existing Sydney based Adventures, Connect and NDIS services to the next level.

About the role
The role is split into three broad responsibilities:

Growth
You will leverage your relationships with plan managers, support coordinators, LACs, recovery coaches, schools and community organisations across Sydney to build new client pipelines. You will manage enquiries from first contact through to enrolment, including quoting and service agreements. You will work with participants and families already in programs to understand what else they need, and connect them with the right Carexcell services. You will develop and commercialise Programs of Supports, including an outdoor skills program and life skills programs.

Program Operations
You will build the calendar of day adventures, overnight adventures (STR) and social groups, matching clients with their known interests and opportunities. You will ensure every program is documented, priced and NDIS-compliant.

Service Delivery
You will spend real time on the ground with participants to know the programs properly and see what's working.

Key responsibilities

• Build referral relationships with plan managers, support coordinators, LACs, recovery coaches, schools and community organisations across Sydney

• Manage enquiries from first contact through to enrolment, including quoting and service agreements

• Work with participants and families already in programs to understand what else they need, and connect them with the right Carexcell services

• Develop and commercialise Programs of Supports, including outdoor skills program and creative program covering photography, podcasting, art and life skills

• Build the seasonal calendar of day adventures and social groups

• Ensure every program is documented, priced and NDIS-compliant

• Spend time on the ground with participants to know the programs properly and see what's working

About you

• Experience in NDIS community participation, recreation programs, or disability service coordination

• Working knowledge of NDIS plan structures, budget categories and Programs of Supports

• Established connections across the disability or community sector, or a demonstrated ability to build them fast

• Confidence leading groups and running activities in community settings

• NDIS Worker Screening Check, NSW Working with Children Check, current driver's licence, and current First Aid and CPR

• Qualifications in community services, disability, recreation, outdoor education or business (desirable)

• Outdoor leadership credentials — bushwalking leadership, remote area first aid, or similar (desirable)

• Experience developing or costing NDIS programs (desirable)
