Job Description

Bingo Bites is looking for an experienced Cook  to join our team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident working in a busy commercial kitchen while also taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store.

You will be actively cooking and preparing orders, while helping manage staff, food quality, stock, cleanliness and daily operations.

We are looking for someone reliable who can take ownership of a shift and eventually run the store confidently without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare menu items
• Manage kitchen operations during service
• Maintain consistent food quality and portion sizes
• Lead and supervise staff during shifts
• Organise preparation before service
• Monitor stock and advise when ordering is required
• Control food waste and unnecessary costs
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards
• Handle customer and operational issues when required
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed
• Train new kitchen staff
• Keep orders moving efficiently during busy periods

Skill & Experience

• Previous commercial kitchen or restaurant cooking experience
• Ability to work confidently on the grill, fryer and general food preparation
• Experience supervising or leading a small team preferred
• Able to work quickly during busy periods
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Restaurant, takeaway or fast-casual experience preferred
• Availability for evenings and weekends
