About the role
uBlossom is recruiting for Casual Positions within Community Access, Assistance with daily life and Personal Care. You will be supporting participants in their homes and community, providing meaningful support as part of a real, passionate team doing work that makes a difference every day.
Key responsibilities
Supporting participants in their home with daily living routines, personal care, and household tasks
Supporting community participation including appointments, hobbies, outings, building and teaching life skills
Encouraging independence, confidence, and choice
Following support plans and strategies developed by allied health professionals
Keeping clear and simple progress notes after each shift
Being a calm, reliable, and supportive presence that participants feel safe with
Ensuring professional boundaries and ethical work practices are upheld
About you
A valid Australian Driver Licence
A clean, safe, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
Police Check
NDIS Workers Module
Minimum 6–12 months experience in disability support (Preferred but not essential if undertaking studies currently)
Qualifications or current studies in Disability, Community Services, or a related field
Availability during weekdays, typically between 9-6pm
A caring, grounded, trauma-informed approach with the ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive
