Internal Sales Representative - Industrial Products

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our team.

You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, providing responsive service, understanding their requirements and helping them find the right products and solutions.

This is more than just an order-processing role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, following up opportunities and contributing to the growth of the business.

It’s also a hands-on role. As part of our branch team, you’ll get involved in all aspects of looking after our customers – from answering enquiries and preparing quotes through to picking, packing and dispatching orders.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email and face-to-face.
• Responding to customer enquiries and helping identify the right products and solutions.
• Preparing quotations and proactively following up customer enquiries and sales opportunities.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability and delivery timeframes.
• Maintaining accurate customer, product and order information.
• Working as part of the team to ensure our customers receive a consistently high level of service.

Here’s a Bit About You

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with customers, takes pride in providing great service and is willing to get involved.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, Parts, Trade Counter or a similar role.
• Experience within industrial distribution or a related industry would be highly regarded.
• A strong customer service focus and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• A proactive sales mindset and willingness to follow up opportunities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• A willingness to get hands-on with picking, packing and receiving stock.
• Experience with bearings, power transmission, hydraulics or other industrial products would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
