At Vets in the Village, you'll join an independent, family-owned practice where relationships come first. Our clinic is set inside a beautifully renovated Queenslander in the heart of St Lucia, creating a calm, welcoming environment for our clients, patients and team.
Located within a vibrant village centre, we're surrounded by cafes, restaurants and local shops, all within walking distance.

Our close-knit team includes veterinarians, experienced nurses, dedicated reception support and hands-on owners who remain actively involved in the clinic. We believe exceptional veterinary care starts with exceptional communication, transparency and teamwork.

Limited weekend work (max 1-2 shifts per month).
This is a hands-on nursing role where you'll work across a variety of responsibilities including:
Surgical nursing and patient monitoring.
Anaesthetic support and recovery care.
Hospital patient management.
Nurse consultations.
Client communication and education.
Laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
Maintaining high clinical and patient care standards.
A kind, dependable person who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care to pets, clients and teammates.
Minimum two years' experience as a veterinary nurse or veterinary technician.
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
Strong clinical nursing skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a willingness to perform clinical duties in front of clients.
Confidence building relationships with clients and supporting them through their pet's healthcare journey.
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the team.
A genuine desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
