The School of Health and Clinical Sciences at The University of Western Australia is committed to advancing health outcomes through high-quality education, research and community engagement. Within the School, the Department of Pharmacy delivers the Doctor of Pharmacy and a suite of postgraduate programs that prepare pharmacists for contemporary professional practice.

Through strong partnerships with healthcare providers, pharmacy practice sites and professional stakeholders, the Department is focused on medicines optimisation, practice-based learning and developing graduates equipped to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.

About the opportunity

• We are recruiting two Lecturer (Level B) positions to contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including teaching, assessment, unit coordination and curriculum development.
• Design and deliver engaging learning experiences, including practice-based, simulation and experiential learning activities that support student success and professional readiness.
• Contribute to curriculum innovation, quality assurance, accreditation activities, interprofessional education initiatives, and partnerships with healthcare organisations and pharmacy practice settings.

About you

• PhD in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional and academic experience appropriate to pharmacy education.
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality teaching, assessment and student-centred learning in higher education, healthcare or professional training environments.
• Experience contributing to curriculum design, educational innovation, quality improvement and collaborative teaching teams.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to inclusion, cultural safety, equity and diversity in education and professional practice.
