Leading Hand Electrician

Duties & responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Electricians, providing direction and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to required standards
• Installing, commissioning, and decommissioning fuel systems, fuel management equipment, and associated electrical infrastructure
• Performing preventative maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on fuel systems, pumps, dispensers, control panels, and monitoring equipment
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant Australian Standards, safety procedures, and site requirements
• Completing job documentation, service reports, and timesheets accurately and on time
• Supporting workshop operations when required

Skills & experience

• Must have proven experience and confidence leading and supervising a team of Electricians
• Trade qualified A-Grade Electrician (Australian recognised)
• Proven supervisory experience within mining, industrial or similar environments
• Current and valid WA driver’s licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Mine site experience or exposure to remote site environments
• Previous experience in fuel system maintenance or servicing (desirable)
• Hazardous Area (HA) experience or certification (desirable)
