Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition, located in Castle Hill, NSW. The College has an enrolment of approximately 2,250 students, with boys in Years 7 to 10 and a co-educational setting in Years 11 and 12. The roles

The College is seeking English Teachers to provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for our students.  The successful candidates will deliver engaging and effective English lessons, provide guidance and support to students, and contribute to the student’s overall academic and pastoral care.

In addition to holding a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation, the successful candidates will be able to:

• Teach English Stages 4-6.
• Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-based teaching and learning programs.
• Assess, monitor, provide feedback on, and report student progress and achievement.
• Develop and implement curriculum programs and assessments across a range of stages (preferred but not essential).
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support student learning and College wide initiatives.
• Confidently implement new syllabus and curriculum requirements.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Use contemporary pedagogical practices, differentiated teaching strategies, and innovative resources to maximise student engagement and outcomes.
• Effectively manage student behaviour and foster a positive learning culture.
• Ability and willingness to teach an additional Key Learning Area (KLA) or subject area will be highly regarded.

The ability to teach an additional subject be highly desirable.
