About the role
Home and Community Support Specialists is seeking an experienced and reliable disability support worker to provide home care and community support to a young man with (ASD) living with his family in Karalee.
When you'll work
This casual position offers approximately 10–15 hours per week across Monday, Thursday and Friday. We are looking for a support worker who is committed to building independence, encouraging community participation, and providing high-quality person-centred support.
About the Role
Home care and community access support
Assistance with personal care and daily living skills
Support to develop greater independence and confidence
Community participation and social engagement
Encouraging skill development and goal achievement
Working collaboratively with family members and the broader support team
About You
Demonstrated experience supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based support
Reliable, flexible and professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
