Our Aged Care Advocacy Services team works alongside older people, their representatives and service providers to ensure rights are upheld, concerns are addressed and people are supported to navigate complex aged care systems with confidence.
About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an Aged Care Advocate to provide information, education, support and representation to older people accessing or seeking aged care services.
We welcome applications from candidates located anywhere across the Sunshine Coast region. This is a home-based role servicing the Sunshine Coast, combining the flexibility of working from home with regular travel throughout the region. The successful candidate will meet with clients, visit residential aged care facilities, and engage with aged care service providers and other stakeholders to support advocacy outcomes and build strong community relationships.
You’ll support individuals to understand their rights, raise concerns and achieve fair outcomes, working with clients, families and providers to navigate the aged care system.
