Unified Lawyers
About the role
Imagine looking back three years from now and knowing you helped build Australia’s leading family law team.
By 2028 we will have doubled our headcount across Australia, hiring the best family law team in the country and transforming how legal recruitment is done. As our Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand Manager, you will play a central role in making that happen.
Help us build something exciting by managing projects to redesign how we attract, select, hire and onboard colleagues. We want to implement innovative ideas, cutting edge technology and processes, introduce a suite of benefits, create talent communities, and embed a new way of hiring that the legal sector in Australia hasn’t seen before.
You’re not just a recruiter, you’re front and centre in our ambition to continually increase the number of clients that we help, having a real impact on our ability to resolve their issues so they can move on with their lives. We find that exciting and rewarding, and if you do, we want to hear from you.
Who is Unified Lawyers?
Unified Lawyers are the fastest growing specialist family law firm in Australia. In January we announced our partnership with Stowe Family Law who are the UK’s largest specialist family law firm. Together, we have big ambitions: to be Australia’s first choice for family law. Together we're building something very different: a modern and ambitious legal practice with culture and client service at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
This isn’t a role where success is measured by how many CVs you can send to hiring managers. Instead you'll partner with our leadership team to input into their talent decisions. There’s no typical day, you’ll be involved in a broad range of responsibilities:
· Work on small volumes of hard to fill roles
· Own and develop our EVP and Employer Brand to attract more, quality candidates
· Use market mapping technology to educate and inform hiring decisions
· Build communities, talent pipelines and networks of diverse talent in each of our locations
· Proactive headhunting for key hires
· Ensure we select the best candidates through an engaging, non-bias, candidate focussed interview process
· Help with building an inclusive, engaging candidate journey that offers transparency and sets clear expectations
About You
To thrive in this role:
· It’s likely you’ve worked in-house within a talent/candidate short recruitment market
· You've an active interest in recruitment marketing and employer branding
· You've a passion for diversity, inclusion and belonging
· You love delivering a great service to your hiring managers and candidates
· You’ve an eye for detail and able to quickly identify when something isn’t working efficiently, problem solve, and make improvements.
What’s in it for me?
If you’re ambitious, want to help us build the best legal workplace in the country and you enjoy a challenge, we’ll offer you a great salary, collaboration with our international team, and a friendly environment with wonderful people. We're open to applications from candidates seeking more flexibility and would welcome discussion around what that looks like as part of the recruitment process.
If you’re interested to hear more please send your cv through the apply button, we’ll respond to all applicants and aim to do this within 7 days.
