HD Fitters - Perth Workshop

The Opportunity:

Our client is Western Australian owned and operated Civil & Mining company servicing mobile plant equipment both civil and mining machines.

We are looking for 2 x HD Fitters to start on a temporary basis then converting to permanent once you are settled and comfortable in the role.

Servicing and maintenance of heavy mobile plant equipment such as Dozers, Graders, Excavators, Trucks and other civil equipment. This role will be based in their Welshpool workshop, Monday to Friday, 10hr shifts and home every night.

Our client can and will offer sponsorship opportunities for the right candidates, you must be in Australia already and have full working rights to start immediately to be considered.

The Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or HV Mechanic is essential
• Working across heavy plant equipment such as, excavators, graders, dozers and other plant equipment.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and repairs, rebuilds, diagnostics testing and servicing of heavy equipment
• Happy to be Perth workshop based, with occasional field maintenance
• Identify and report any safety, environmental or quality issues on HME or within the working environment
• Effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately, self-manage the workload
• Ability to communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and with clients both face to face and remotely
