Casual Home Help / Driver

About the role

A casual, part-time household help role of approximately 9–12 hours per week, initially for a 3-month period with the possibility of extending by mutual agreement. This role suits someone who is comfortable both behind the wheel and around the house — a mix of driving and general home help.

Key responsibilities

• Driving the children to and from school and activities, and occasionally driving the homeowner

• General housekeeping — keeping the home clean and tidy

• Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and changing linen

• Washing up and keeping the kitchen tidy

• Basic food preparation for the family

• Other general household tasks as needed

About you

• Current, valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record

• Comfortable driving either your own car or the family car

• Current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willing to obtain one before starting — required as duties involve transporting children

• Previous experience in housekeeping, home help, nannying or similar highly regarded but not essential

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Own reliable transport to get to and from the home
