Law Clerk Position Available – Wills and Estates

A paid, casual position is available at BATEMAN BATTERSBY COMPLETE LEGAL in Penrith. The position is for a law student to work two to three days per week, reporting directly to a solicitor practising in wills, estates and estate disputes. The role offers practical exposure to all aspects of a busy suburban law practice and the opportunity to assist clients from diverse backgrounds.

Duties will range from answering phones, opening files, invoicing and scheduling appointments to conducting legal research, taking client instructions and assisting with client interviews. No prior experience is required, as training and supervision will be provided.

This role is suited to a university student seeking meaningful, ongoing employment and the opportunity to learn legal practice from the ground up—not short-term work experience. Local applicants will be considered favourably.

The successful candidate will work out of our Penrith office.
