HR Business Partner Partner with Leaders. Navigate Complexity. Make a Difference.

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in complex environments, enjoys tackling challenging employee and industrial relations matters, and knows how to balance people outcomes with business needs.

If you've worked in a unionised, highly regulated industry such as healthcare, aged care, disability, early childhood, government or a similar operational environment, you'll feel right at home.

From workforce change and performance management to coaching leaders and navigating complex workplace issues, you'll be a trusted advisor who delivers practical solutions that make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with leaders to provide expert advice on employee relations, industrial relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
• Support organisational change initiatives, workforce planning, restructures and succession planning activities.
• Interpret and provide guidance on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards and HR policies.
• Coach and influence leaders to build capability and confidence in managing people matters.
• Develop trusted relationships with leaders, employees and key stakeholders to drive positive workplace outcomes.
• Contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
• Analyse workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities and support business decision-making.

About You 

You'll be an experienced HR Business Partner who understands the realities of operational environments and can balance people outcomes, compliance obligations and business priorities. You enjoy working closely with leaders, solving complex problems and delivering pragmatic advice that makes a difference. You will bring:

• Experience partnering with leaders across blue-collar, frontline and white-collar workforces.
• Strong employee and industrial relations experience within a unionised environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex people matters including performance, misconduct, grievances and workplace change.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards and contemporary HR practices.
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment such as disability services, healthcare, aged care, community services, early childhood, government or a similar sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
