Executive Assistant

• Temporary opportunity for 12 months – with possibility of extension
• Full-time role at 35 hours per week + FlexTime
• Location: Maitland preferred, however; all NSW office locations will be considered – regional location encouraged/hybrid working supported 
• Salary ranges from $102,936.00 to $113,579.00 + super & leave loading 

About the Role

As an Executive Assistant supporting the Executive Director, Strategy, Performance and Industry Development, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful operation of a busy executive office and leadership team. Acting as a trusted partner, you will provide high-level executive support, manage competing priorities and help ensure the Executive Director can focus on delivering outcomes that support the future growth and development of NSW's resources sector.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will coordinate complex diaries and commitments, prepare high-quality correspondence and briefing materials, support branch initiatives and projects, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across government and industry. Working at the centre of a dynamic branch, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while developing your skills in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

NSW Resources, a division of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, is responsible for the strategic management, regulation, and sustainable development of New South Wales' mineral and energy resources.
