Crushing Plant Leading Hand

About the role

Red Circle Recycling is seeking an experienced Crushing Plant Leading Hand to join our operations team at our Port Adelaide facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day management and oversight of our crushing plant operations. As Leading Hand, you will be responsible for supervising plant activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of plant operators. This position is essential to our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality recycling services and represents a key leadership role within our recycling operation.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating crushing plant equipment and related machinery in a mining, quarrying or recycling environment

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and motivate team members effectively

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to crushing plant operations and mining/recycling industries

• Competency in basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across departments

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate operational records

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Current driver's licence and willingness to work flexible hours as required

• High Risk Forklift License Required

• Experience in the recycling or resource recovery sector would be advantageous
