 An exciting opportunity is available for enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Leading Hands to join our growing WA Electrical Construction team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will help lead the electrical delivery of one of our major projects across the Rockingham and Mandurah areas.

 Key responsibilities include:

•  Take ownership of allocated works and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality finished product

• Plan and coordinate daily work activities for tradespeople and apprentices

• Supervise electrical construction works across major commercial projects

• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity

• Complete accurate daily records and detailed notes for completed works

• Mentor and train junior tradespeople and apprentices

• Represent Fredon professionally when dealing with clients and other project stakeholders

• Attend daily logistics and coordination meetings

• Ensure electrical inspections and testing are completed in accordance with prescribed procedures

• Assist with project reporting and the monitoring of labour, materials, plant and equipment

• Provide clear direction and support to electrical tradespeople on site

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

• A current WA electrical licence and driver's licence

• At least three years' experience as a qualified electrician within the construction industry, preferably on major projects

• Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience is highly regarded

• An open cabling registration is desirable

• Sound working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a project team

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A practical approach to problem-solving

• The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction packages

 What will be provided;

• Highly competitive EBA rates and allowances

• Base hourly rate of $60.36-$62.57, depending on level of experience

• Site allowance of $3.00-$5.00 per hour worked

• Applicable daily travel allowance of $40-$50

• Other applicable allowances in accordance with the EBA

• Uniforms and PPE
