HDD Crew Members

The Company

Maxibor is one of Australia’s leading Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) contractors, operating a large fleet of small, mid-sized and maxi rigs and supporting HDD equipment. We provide HDD design and construction services nationwide across the water, gas, power, rail and telecommunications sectors.

We are currently seeking Crew members for a project based in the Gold Coast and Brisbane area.

Key Responsibilities

Duties may include:

• Following and implementing OH&S procedures

• Locating underground utility services

• Operating NDD (non-destructive digging) equipment

• Site setup and reinstatement

• Driving HR vehicles and operating plant and machinery

• General civil construction activities

• Completing required project documentation

• Tracking and drilling operations support

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• White Card

• HR Truck Licence

• Experience drilling and excavating around live services

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

• Excavator ticket

• Experience operating HDD rigs

• Experience with pit and pipe installation

• Broader civil construction experience
