About the role
MDS Marine - currently has an opening for a factory hand / trades assistant to join our team in Riverstone.
MDS Marine is a metal fabrication company that specialises in marine related structures ranging from pontoons & marinas to projects for defence and infrastructure on mine sites.
The role will include:
Assisting tradespersons with metal fabrication
Concrete formwork and steel fixing
Precast concreting
Pontoon fit-up and assembly
Timber decking
Occasional site work and general factory work
To be successful in this role you will need:
A strong work ethic
Good mechanical aptitude (an advantage)
A willingness to learn
This is a full time position, the hours will be Mondays to Fridays 7.30am to 4.00pm
For the right candidate this position could lead to further training in fabrication
