Senior Civil Design Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join a collaborative and growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer looking to take ownership of projects, work closely with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to a diverse range of civil developments.

The Role As a Senior Civil Designer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering civil design documentation across a range of urban land development and civil infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the delivery of all civil design aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Developing detailed civil designs and documentation using 12D and AutoCAD
• Working across urban land development and civil infrastructure projects
• Liaising regularly with clients, consultants, authorities and other key stakeholders
• Applying relevant Australian Standards and Council design requirements
• Coordinating designs with service authorities and understanding relevant approval processes
• Ensuring designs consider safety-in-design requirements and project processes
• Supporting project delivery and working collaboratively with engineers, designers and wider project teams

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 6+ years of civil design experience
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience working on urban land development and civil infrastructure projects
• Advanced proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and Council design standards
• An understanding of service authority design approvals and construction requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage multiple design deliverables and meet project deadlines
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
