We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Sales – Meat and Livestock team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for delivering efficient and effective support to customers, processing orders, responding to enquiries and helping ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

About The Role

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, including pricing, products and scheduling. You will build strong customer relationships, support sales activities, coordinate with internal teams and help resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

Provide prompt and accurate customer service across general enquiries, pricing, product information and scheduling. Process customer orders and coordinate with internal departments to support timely delivery and issue resolution. Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers. Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Support customer needs analysis and provide information about products and services. Prepare correspondence and reports relating to customer needs, issues, market activity and service opportunities. Contribute to a safe workplace by following company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.

About You

You will be highly motivated, target driven and confident working with customers and internal stakeholders. You will bring strong communication, selling and negotiation skills, along with the ability to prioritise, organise your work and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

What you will bring

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proven sales experience and a customer-first mindset. Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills. Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills. The ability to prepare and deliver information tailored to customer needs. Openness to feedback and a collaborative approach. Experience using Food Chain Software or working in the meat industry will be highly regarded.
