Join one of Australia's leading commercial property agencies and work alongside a highly regarded retail investments team on some of the country's most significant retail property transactions.

The Company
Our client is a tier-one commercial real estate agency specialising in investment and development site transactions across Australia and New Zealand.
With more than 60 people across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the business has built a strong reputation for its expertise, relationships and ability to execute significant commercial property transactions.

Their clients range from private investors, developers and syndicators through to major institutional and ASX-listed organisations.

The Melbourne team operates from a brand-new South Yarra office and brings together experienced agents, analysts, marketing and administration professionals in a genuinely collaborative environment.

The Role
This is an opportunity to join the national Retail Investments team as a Senior Analyst, working closely with Partners and senior agents across major retail investment transactions.

You will have exposure to shopping centres, supermarkets and large-format retail assets, providing the analysis, research and transaction support that underpins the successful positioning and sale of these investments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial analysis and due diligence across major retail assets
• Lease analysis, outgoings reviews and Forbury cash flow modelling
• Analysing sales, leasing and broader transaction data
• Preparing and assessing property financials
• Researching investment markets, submarkets, demographics and macroeconomic factors
• Contributing to the strategic positioning and marketing strategy of assets
• Preparing institutional-grade Information Memorandums, submissions and presentations
• Developing marketing materials, campaign updates, database communications and digital listings
• Maintaining and analysing transaction databases
• Supporting Partners and agents throughout the transaction process
• Building relationships with property professionals locally and nationally
• Contributing to the broader national analyst team

Foundation for Success
You will bring approximately five or more years of experience within property investment, valuation, funds management, capital transactions or a similar analytical property environment.

You may currently be working as a Senior Analyst, Senior Valuer or within a capital transactions team and be looking for an opportunity to move closer to major transactions and the investment market.

Retail property experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.

You will also bring:

• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Exposure to property transactions and due diligence
• Advanced numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills
• Confidence working with Excel and property-related financial information
• A relevant property, business or related university qualification
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to work across multiple transactions
• A collaborative approach and genuine interest in commercial property
