Role Overview Are you currently studying Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or Nursing? Gain hands-on, real-world experience through a structured Student Placement at Duacare Support Solutions. This role offers you the opportunity to work alongside experienced Support Workers, apply your academic learning, and develop practical skills in a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Assist experienced staff in delivering individualized support to clients in alignment with their NDIS plans.
• Daily Living Support: Support clients with daily routine activities, community access, social outings, and skill-building exercises.
• Documentation: Learn to maintain accurate daily shift reports, progress notes, and client communication logs.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to duty-of-care guidelines, workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols, and NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a relevant qualification (Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or Diploma/Degree equivalent).
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to participant dignity and choice.
