About the role
Metro Assist and CABL Limited are seeking experienced Child and Family Therapeutic Clinicians to join our Families Together Program, delivering intensive, evidence-informed therapeutic support to children and families at risk of entering the child protection system.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary Family Preservation model, providing clinical interventions that directly impact child safety, family functioning, and long-term outcomes.
Our teams operate across South West Sydney, Sydney, South East Sydney, North Sydney, and Cumberland, delivering home-based services funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

The Families Together program delivers intensive Family Preservation services to families with children at risk of entering, or escalating within, the statutory child protection system.
As the Child and Family Therapeutic Clinician, you will be embedded within a multidisciplinary team, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapeutic interventions to children, parents, and families, and providing clinical consultation and collaboration with Family Practitioners and the Team Leader to achieve outcomes for the families within the program.
The role supports family safety, emotional wellbeing, and parent–child relationships, and ensures therapeutic strategies are integrated into everyday family support practice. Services are delivered primarily through home visits and community-based outreach, requiring flexibility, cultural humility, and strong clinical judgement.
