About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate counsellor to support children, young people and families impacted by trauma, sexual assault and abuse.
Join CatholicCare's specialist team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people as they heal, recover and thrive.
Working within a highly skilled and supportive clinical team, you will provide trauma-informed therapeutic support to children, young people and their families while contributing to prevention, education and community awareness initiatives.
About the role:
You will join a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering specialist trauma-informed counselling to children, young people and families.
This role requires advanced clinical skills, a strong understanding of child development and trauma, and the ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, community services and other stakeholders.

About the service:
Our Trauma and Sexual Assault Counselling (TASAC) program provides specialist therapeutic support to children and young people aged up to 24 years who have experienced trauma, including:
The program also supports non-offending parents, carers and family members to strengthen protective relationships and promote children's recovery and safety.
