Wollongong Private Hospital is a 171 bed private hospital operated by Australia's largest private hospital operator, Ramsay Health Care, is set in the heart of Wollongong's Medical Precinct.  It features state of the art equipment, facilities and patient services setting a benchmark for healthcare facilities in the Illawarra.

Wollongong Private Hospital is seeking compassionate and professional Registered Nurses for dedicated positions in our Intensive Care Unit. We have full-time, part-time and casual positions available. 

Our ICU is a state‑of‑the‑art, 10‑bed unit specialising in Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Vascular and General Surgery. We combine cutting‑edge technology with a team culture built on respect, collaboration, and genuine compassion.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating care delivery needs to effectively manage rapidly changing situations and ensure high-quality patient care. You will be required to work as a supportive team member to contribute to clinical and unit-based decision making. 

About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in a hospital environment is essential
• Must have recent ICU experience
• Cardiothoracic experience desirable but not essential
• Post-graduate qualifications and/or certificates highly regarded
• Excellent understanding of infection control principles
• Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)
