About the APS Craft & Learning Branch
APS Craft & Learning is focussed on developing core APS Craft capabilities: Integrity, Working in Government, Engagement and Partnership, Strategy, Policy and Evaluation, Implementation and Services and Leadership and Management enabling the APS to develop the workforce and capabilities needed for the future.
The APS Craft & Learning branch ensures learning is accessible across the APS regardless of agency or location through partnerships with APS centres of excellence. Consistent with the Highly Capable, Future-Ready: APS Learning and Development Strategy the Operations Group provides access to a diverse range of learning experiences, learning through work, people, resources and courses, all connected to real-world experiences and supported by practitioners from within the APS.
As an Executive Level 2 Practitioner Facilitator, you will play a key role in leading the development and delivery of APS Craft products.
We are looking for someone who has a combination of deep practice experience in delivery of government policy or implementation priorities and developing and delivering learning products. This is an expert advisor position which sits within the Craft Learning Curation and Design Team.
In addition to responsibilities above, the position also provides practitioner advice on the broader set of products being designed and delivered within the Craft Learning Curation and Design Team and across the Craft & Learning Branch. This is a role that requires a strong focus on impact and delivery, alongside a highly collaborative approach within the APS Academy and APSC and partnering with agencies and organisations across the system.

Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS) or, in limited circumstances, in the process of obtaining citizenship.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated. All Commission staff are required to have a minimum Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a mandatory National Criminal History check as part of the pre-employment eligibility checks.
