Service Technician - Commercial/Professional Appliances

Our client is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of domestic and commercial appliances. A high standard product requires high standard customer and technical service to match and to this end we are seeking quality Field Service Technicians to join their ranks in New South Wales, based in Sydney's west. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with appliances however applicants with experience in other trades are encouraged to apply. 

Your day-to-day duties revolve around working with commercial appliances in a range of customer settings. Responsibilities include:

• Installation of new commercial/professional machinery in the field including laundry, kitchen and medical applications
• Provide initial user operation training as required
• Attending to breakdown situations
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Completion of required reports/paperwork

In order to thrive, our successful candidate will possess the following:

• A trade background in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline.
• A Restricted Electrical licence at a minimum
• Competency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery or appliances.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Occasional intrastate travel required
• The ability to work autonomously to a high standard

Ideally you will have experience in appliances, however qualifications in other trades (refrigeration, HVAC, gasfitting etc) will be considered as full product training will be provided.
