Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in Kingsgrove, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our scientific equipment and systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the science and research industry, providing technical expertise and exceptional service to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of scientific equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions to clients.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and client interactions.
• Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a relevant field such as engineering, technology, or applied sciences.
• Proven experience in a field service role, preferably within the science and research industry.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
• Regular Night Working required
• International Police check required
