Administration and Finance Manager - Westfield West Lakes - 9 month contract

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Administration (Finance) Manager to join our Westfield West Lakes destination on a fixed term contract.This is a varied role, with a critical focus on finance, but with exposure to all aspects of centre management.Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:Leading the development of the annual asset budgets, ensuring finances are managed to achieve budget outcomes.On-going analysis and management of centre profit and loss reports, including reviewing and processing monthly accruals and journals (including prepayments).Conducting accurate and timely analysis of financial risks and opportunities, in order to present recommendations to the Asset Team.Supporting our Regional Customer Experience Manager with analysis of state trends and national benchmark data.Conducting bi-monthly forecasting of budgets.Managing all centre daily banking, reconciliations, accounts payable, and the daily running of the office.
This is a fixed term opportunity until June 2027, and as a part of our operational team, you will also have duty management responsibilities from time to time too, where you’ll be required to work a weekend shift (on a roster) which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.What will set you apart from the rest?This is an exciting role, where you will play a key role within Westfield West Lakes and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of our centre. You will be a confident communicator, enjoy developing relationships and also have:An accounting background, including profit and loss, budgeting oversightExceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen emphasis on precision and attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skills
