Bollard Service and Installation Technician

About the role

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support for the products and systems we install and maintain. This includes installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of company products and equipment across the Sydney Metro area.

You’ll work both on-site and with our team to make sure our products are installed and maintained properly, safely and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain company products. This includes HVM-rated and non-rated bollards, boom gates, turnstiles, automatic gates, time systems and pedestrian door systems.

• Manage and maintain company machinery and equipment.

• Complete installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work safely.

• Investigate faults, troubleshoot issues and work out practical solutions.

• Complete reports and service dockets

• Carry out assembly work on-site.

• Attend and assist with site and project meetings when required.

About you

• Be able to accurately take and read measurements.

• Look after company tools, equipment and vehicles and make sure they are kept safe, clean and in good working order.

• Wear the required PPE provided by the company.

• Work with your employer and the wider team to make sure all WHS requirements and regulations are followed.

• Be able to pass a National Police Check and have a clear criminal history.
