Position: Registered Nurse, temporary or permanent full-time, 76 hours per fortnight

Location: Murroona Gardens Care Community, Wests Lane, Bowen QLD 4805

About the role

You will provide clinical care and leadership within our residential aged care service, working with residents, families, care staff and health professionals to achieve safe and positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.

• Provide and oversee clinical care, medication management, wound care and responses to changes in residents' conditions.

• Lead and support care staff while coordinating with families, doctors and allied health professionals.

• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement, risk management and compliance.

About you

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• At least 12 months of post-registration nursing experience. Aged care experience is highly regarded.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation and leadership skills.

• Ability to obtain the required police and worker screening clearances.
