Lead Automation Developer (Nintex & SharePoint)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Automation Developer (Nintex & SharePoint) to join our Enterprise Automation team based in Brisbane.

As a key member of our technology team, you will lead the design, development and support of enterprise workflow and forms solutions using Nintex and SharePoint technologies. Working closely with business stakeholders across Sime Industrial, you will identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency and deliver scalable automation solutions that create real business value.

Reporting to the Manager - Enterprise Automation, you will provide technical leadership to a small offshore development team while contributing to the ongoing evolution of our automation platforms, frameworks and capabilities across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the design, development and support of enterprise workflow and forms solutions using Nintex and SharePoint technologies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to a small offshore development team.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities.
• Analyse existing business processes and design improved future-state solutions.
• Develop, configure and maintain automation solutions in line with SDLC and governance standards.
• Ensure solutions are documented, supportable and aligned with best practice principles.
• Support operational monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in solution architecture, design reviews and change management processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and business representatives to deliver successful outcomes.
• Contribute to automation strategy, capability uplift and technology improvement initiatives.

What you'll need:
You are a highly capable automation professional who combines strong technical skills with the ability to lead developers, influence stakeholders and deliver practical business outcomes.

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience developing solutions using Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow
• Strong SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint administration experience
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Experience leading or mentoring developers within a delivery team
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Experience supporting production applications and business-critical workflows
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Nintex Automation Cloud
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Experience working with integrations, APIs and enterprise systems
• Experience using Jira, GitHub or similar development tools
• Knowledge of document management, records management or workflow governance practices
• Experience in a large enterprise or industrial environment
