Linemarking Labourer or Operator

About the role

We are looking for Linemarking Operators or Labourers for Mainliner's Civil Linemarking Division. This is a full-time position working for an expanding business looking to hire the right individual to support our continued growth. We are keen to interview both experienced line markers and entry-level candidates interested in developing new skills in a growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully operate line marking machinery to apply road markings, arrows, and other customised linework

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to keep it in optimal working condition

• Work closely with the broader construction team to coordinate line marking activities

• Identify and report any issues or defects in the work area

• Maintain detailed records of all work completed

• Set up and complete traffic control as required

What we're looking for

• Several years of experience as a line marking operator in the linemarking industry

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a line marking operator in the industry is required

• Real world experience as a traffic controller with current tickets

• Current traffic control certification must be held at the time of application

• Proficiency in operating a range of line marking equipment and line removal equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines

• A valid driver's licence and a White Card. Traffic Control, First Aid & Forklift would be advantageous

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver a professional, high-quality finish

• A proactive, safety-conscious approach to your work

• A strong Leader to assist with organising crews onsite.

• Be available for regular weekend work and night shift (where required). This is an essential requirement. If you cannot work at least one weekend a month please do not apply.
