The incredible opportunity

As Myriota scales its global reach, our internal systems need to scale alongside it, securely supporting the business. This is a newly created role; you will work closely with the Director of IT & Cyber Security and our Service Desk Specialist to drive corporate IT and cyber security modernisation: endpoint management, identity, and the technical uplift behind Essential Eight.

Far from a maintenance position, this is a forward-looking innovation role. In our multi-platform environment spanning macOS, Windows, and Linux, you will spearhead key security initiatives: fortifying our cyber security posture, taking charge of endpoint identity, supporting our Essential Eight maturity journey, sustaining ISO 27001 compliance, and helping to shape the safe adoption of emerging AI technologies across the organisation.

Stuff we’ll trust you to do

• Manage and mature MDM across the corporate device fleet while tuning endpoint controls to close Essential Eight maturity gaps.

• Administer the identity lifecycle and expand Single Sign-On (SSO) coverage across all corporate applications.

• Share ticket triage, asset tracking, and end-to-end user onboarding/offboarding with the Service Desk Specialist, acting as an escalation point.

• Support ISO 27001 ISMS operation, audit preparation, vendor security assessments, and the ongoing maintenance of the AI Tool Registry.

• Deliver security tooling initiatives to quarterly plan, and handle IT change requests end to end.

What we’ll like about you

• 3–5+ years of experience in an IT systems, infrastructure, or cyber security operational role.

• Hands-on experience administering endpoint management solutions (e.g., NinjaOne, Intune), identity platforms (e.g. Okta), and Google Workspace.

• Pragmatic and throughput-focused mindset; you prioritise maximising existing tools before advocating for new purchases.

• A scripting and automation aptitude (PowerShell, Python) to simplify configuration and eliminate repetitive tasks.

• Prior exposure to regulated frameworks (ISO 27001, Essential Eight, or DISP) and vendor risk/AI governance.

• A Diploma or Degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (Security+ or SSCP certifications are a bonus!).

• Please note: Australian citizenship is required for this role to meet AGSVA security clearance and DISP eligibility criteria. Prior Defence background or active clearances are well regarded.
