About the Organisation:
This charming boutique firm in Redcliffe offers you a great opportunity to receive incredible work-life balance, and work in a vibrant and relaxed environment! Their team of 8 is overseen by two young partners who are extremely friendly, supportive and offer you multiple opportunities for long-term success!

They are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join their team, directly supporting one of the partners and their growing client-base. This role will offer you great exposure to a broad skillset as you'll be working on clients from beginning to end, building your experience quickly! 

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entities (partnership, trust, individual, company) from start to finish
• Getting involved with complex tax calculations including: Div7a, FBT and CGT 
• Answering client queries and being a direct point of contact for them
• Working across multiple softwares (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, HandiSoft) and translating client reporting into the firm's system 
• Offering a personalised service to clients to build positive, long-term relationships 
• Opportunity to learn and get involved with SMSF's

Skillset and Experience:

• At least 3+ years' experience working as an Accountant in a public practice firm 
• Knowledge of Australian tax standards and reporting (MUST!) 
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks or HandiSoft
• Ability to work on multiple client files simultaneously and prioritise workflow
• Someone with or working toward CA or CPA is a bonus 
• Someone who enjoys a collaborative work environment with a young and fun group of individuals!
