The Opportunity

We are hiring for a qualified Naturopath or Nutritionist with Technical Writing and broader content development experience to join us as a Communications & Content Coordinator within the Blackmores Institute. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in technical writing and short or long form content development to take a step into industry. This role entails coordination, ideation and development of strategically aligned technical educational content within the Blackmores Institute.

This role focuses on cross-functional collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to expand the impact of Blackmores Institute as a global industry leader in natural medicine. 

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) 12-month maternity leave cover role. We are open to qualified candidates based across Australia as this role is primarily remote. Candidates based in Sydney will be able to work from our offices in Surry Hills or Warriewood or work from our office in Braeside, Victoria.

What will you do?

• Coordinate content for global Healthcare Practitioners and Pharmacists from ideation to launch aligned to agreed strategic objectives

• Project Coordination of the Blackmores Institute content calendar across multiple channels including the Blackmores Institute website, newsletter, and social media platforms.

• Writing, reviewing, and editing content for internal and external audiences to support agreed priorities including articles, website content, briefs and scripts 

• Collaborate and work cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders to align content to business objectives

• Utilise a variety of programs to support backend management of content to website and social media platforms

• Report on Blackmores Institute activities, collating data and providing insights into content results and activities, informing future content direction

Who are you?

• A qualified naturopath, nutritionist, pharmacist or someone in similar discipline is preferred

• Experience with end-to-end content development process is highly preferred

• Possess relevant technical writing skills and be capable of making technical information easily understood by users. This skill is important as you will be expected to write and edit content that is targeted to various audiences

• Experience in the development of educational content is highly desirable

• A highly organised individual with an eye for detail and the capacity to coordinate and conduct content development and project management work
