About the Role

Make a meaningful difference as a Senior Social Worker, leading expert care and shaping better outcomes for people with complex mental health needs within community.

• Lead clinical Social Work practice and care planning
• Deliver complex assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Guide teams, supervise staff and support clinical excellence
• Build strong partnerships with consumers, carers and services
• Drive service improvement, education, research and innovation

About You

To be successful in this role as a senior social worker you will:

• Hold a degree eligible for AASW membership
• Bring sound mental health Social Work clinical experience
• Lead care, supervision and multidisciplinary practice demonstrating strong social work values
• Maintain a clear social work identity and an ability to advocate for the consumer voice
• Apply advanced assessment and therapeutic skills as a social worker
• Communicate well and use sound professional judgement within a multidisciplinary team environment 
• Awareness of community mental health with a recovery mindset supporting excellent consumer outcomes
