Senior Project Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager with proven experience delivering social infrastructure particularly across seniors living, aged care, and housing in our Sydney office. This is your chance to lead high-impact projects from concept through to completion, working alongside developers, operators, designers and government stakeholders to deliver outcomes that genuinely change lives. You'll be part of a tight-knit, ambitious team that values quality over quantity, builds long-term client partnerships, and supports each other to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project management of seniors living, aged care, and/or social and affordable housing projects

• Manage time, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder outcomes across multiple concurrent projects

• Develop and oversee project plans, programs, budgets, and procurement strategies

• Work closely with clients, designers, contractors and consultants as the trusted Planix lead

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continue Planix's reputation as the partner of choice in social infrastructure

• Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow our presence nationally

About you

• 8+ years' project management experience in the construction or development industry

• Demonstrated experience delivering social infrastructure projects particularly across seniors living, aged care, retirement villages, and/or social or affordable housing

• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to lead procurement, manage budgets, and identify risks early

• Excellent stakeholder management skills comfortable working across public sector, not-for-profit and private clients

• Tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, architecture or related discipline

• A genuine passion for delivering projects that have lasting community impact
