Production Manager (Kulnura, Central Coast)

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Operate and run the production lines within the plant to ensure quality of product is satisfactory

• Complete production paperwork

• Ensure production machinery is running smoothly

• Have a solid understanding of advance manufacturing plants

• Manage and run two shifts and the associated production team

• Report directly to the operations manager

• Be able to conduct production line setup and changeovers

• Translate production plans into practical daily and weekly manufacturing schedules

• Monitor production performance, schedule adherence, labour efficiency and resolve production constraints

• Manage and drive continuous improvement projects within the plant

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience working within the fast moving consumer goods industry (min 5 years)

• Experience operationally working in a factory environment

• Exceptional problem solving skills

• Relevant mechanical / engineering background required

• Forklift license a must 

• Understanding of how a production line operates

• Ability to demonstrate managerial traits and qualities

• Mixing/batching/blending experience advantageous
