Electrical Trade Sales and Stores Work

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Electrical Trade Sales and Stores professional to join the team at Eltron Sales P/L. This is a full-time position based in Thebarton, SA 5031. You will play a vital role in supporting our sales operations and managing our stores function, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and our inventory is maintained to the highest standards. This position is instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and supporting the growth of our electrical trade business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding sales support and customer service to electrical trade customers, assisting with product selection and specifications

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery

• Manage inventory levels, including stock control, receiving, and organisation of electrical products and materials

• Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate records of inventory movements

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular customers, understanding their needs and preferences

• Respond to customer enquiries regarding product availability, pricing and technical specifications

• Support the sales team by providing product knowledge and market insights

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised store environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Contribute to the achievement of sales and customer service targets

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in trade sales, customer service or stores management within the electrical, construction or related industry

• Strong knowledge of electrical products, materials and industry terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Physical capability to handle stock, including lifting and moving heavy items safely

• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining professional standards

• Familiarity with health and safety practices relevant to stores and warehouse operations

• Preferred: Experience in account management or relationship management within the trade sector
