Junior Recruiter

PCM Group is a growing Australian industrial services business delivering specialist services across the mining, resources, construction and infrastructure sectors.

As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Junior Recruiter to join our internal Recruitment and Mobilisation team in Perth.

This is an internal recruitment role focused on supporting PCM's workforce requirements across projects throughout Australia. You will work closely with our operations teams to source, screen and onboard skilled personnel for current and upcoming projects.

Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who is organised, confident on the phone, comfortable dealing with people and keen to build a career in recruitment.

The Role You will assist with recruitment across a range of blue collar and operational positions, including:
• Blaster Painters
• Scaffolders
• Boilermaker Welders
• Supervisors
• Trades Assistants
• High Pressure Water Jetting personnel
• Project and site based roles

Your responsibilities will include:
• Advertising vacancies across SEEK and other recruitment platforms
• Sourcing suitable candidates
• Conducting initial candidate screening
• Coordinating interviews with operational managers
• Completing reference checks and recruitment administration
• Maintaining candidate records and recruitment databases
• Assisting with pre employment requirements and onboarding
• Supporting mobilisation activities where required
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of available personnel
• Working closely with operations to understand upcoming workforce requirements

About You We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is confident speaking with candidates over the phone
• Is organised and able to manage multiple vacancies at once
• Has strong attention to detail
• Is proactive and willing to search for candidates rather than simply rely on applications
• Works well in a fast paced environment
• Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience in recruitment, administration, mobilisation, mining or industrial services will be highly regarded, however we are open to candidates looking to take their first step into recruitment.
