We have a rich history and have been providing residential aged care for more than 40 years.

What we need
We currently have a Permanent Full Time opportunity for a highly motivated Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to lead our team. 

What will you do?

The leisure and lifestyle coordinator plans, develops, and delivers meaningful leisure and lifestyle opportunities that support the social, physical, and emotional wellbeing of our residents

More specifically, your key duties will include:

• Create Daily and weekly calendars offering meaningful activities and opportunities based on residents interests, choices and preferences.
• Organise safe group trips, external events and special celebrations. 
• Talk with residents to understand their individual preferences, background, interests and goals. 
• Guide and support team members and volunteers and monitor the success of programs.  
• Record participation, feedback and outcomes and update relevant care notes. 

 What you bring to the role

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.
• Residential aged care and/or experience working with clients with dementia is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team 
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A can-do attitude with the ability to learn and grow on the job 
• A friendly outgoing personality 
• A desire to work in the not-for-profit sector in a rewarding environment
