About the Role

As a Qualified Horticulturist, you'll play an important role in maintaining exceptional outdoor environments to the highest presentation standards. You'll work alongside a skilled team and may have opportunities to provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, mulching and weeding
• Garden and landscape maintenance to premium presentation standards
• Planting, seasonal garden displays and landscape enhancements
• Identifying and treating plant pests, diseases and nutrient deficiencies
• Operating and maintaining horticultural tools, machinery and irrigation systems
• Supporting turf renovation and improvement projects
• Assisting with task coordination and mentoring within the team where required
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently

About You

We're looking for a passionate horticultural professional who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens (essential)
• Practical experience in commercial or high-end horticultural maintenance
• Strong plant identification and garden maintenance knowledge
• Experience operating horticultural equipment and machinery
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A current driver's licence
• White Card and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
