Project Engineer

McCosker Contracting have an exciting opportunity for Project Engineers to join our team. This position is based on a project site located in Gladstone, Queensland.

• 5 days on, 2 days off or 10 days on 4 days off
• Immediate start
• FIFO/DIDO and Local position available

This position will provide effective engineering support to the project team to achieve completion of contracted works in accordance with project and client requirements. This role will be responsible to coordinate project programming, reporting and controls within timeframes, ensuring a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.

To be successful you will have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of civil construction standards, legislation, and associated practices
• Experience in reinforced concrete structures
• Experience in project management and implementing client programs
• Able to liaise, mediate and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Expertise in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Experience in developing and implementing quality programs and controls
• Expertise in communication, including developing project documents and reports
• Experienced in MS Office and P6/Project Management Systems (beginner to intermediate)
