Senior Business Development Executive - Operations

Current Opportunity
Nexia Sydney is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to join our Marketing and Business Development team at an exciting point in the firm’s growth.
  
Working closely with Partners and senior leaders, you will identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support the delivery of the firm’s growth objectives through practical, best-practice BD initiatives. Based in our Sydney CBD office, you will be part of a collaborative, hands-on team where you can influence firm-wide initiatives, build your expertise and make a visible impact.
  
The role
Reporting to the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities and will play an active role in helping the team deliver day-to-day priorities as well as longer-term growth initiatives including:

• identifying and assessing suitable partnership, sponsorship and referral opportunities to generate new leads;
• working closely with Partners to strengthen and grow industry specialisations through targeted BD thought leadership and campaigns;
• analysing market, competitor and client data to provide strategic recommendations; and
• developing and delivering internal business development training programs.

About you
To be considered for this role, you will be qualified in Marketing or a related discipline and have at least 5 years’ business development experience, preferably within a professional services environment. You are an energetic team player who brings curiosity, initiative and a desire to keep improving how things are done. You have a strong client service focus, enjoy working with senior stakeholders and are comfortable in leading change.
  
Your experience should include:

• strong project management and facilitation skills;
• a strong understanding of marketing and business development strategies and how they work together to create positive commercial outcomes; and
• excellent senior stakeholder management skills.
